The Airport Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden (FKB) has demonstrated again, that it is equipped for every type of air traffic. The visit of the Antonov AN 225 supplied evidence on November 19th 2007. The AN 225 with its 32-wheel landing gear system and six powerplants is the world's largest aircraft. Until today only one AN 225 was built.

• Operating times:
  The opening hours of the Airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden are from Monday to Sunday between 6 am and 11 pm (for aircraft >5,7 tons). Outside these operating times starts and landings are subject to special conditions and only with PPR.
   
• Customs:
  The customs at the Airport are available during the operating times. Declaration of animals is possible on request.
   
• Apron for cargo handling:
  The Airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden disposes of a separate apron for cargo handling.
   
• Storing facilities:
  For cargo handling a storehouse located next to the apron can be used.
