The passenger terminal

Important note:
Due to security reasons it is not permitted to stay inside the terminal overnight. Please use an overnight accomodation in one of the hotels at the airport and in the region.

Opening hours:
The terminal is opened approx. 2.5 hours before thr first departing flight. The terminal is closed after the last arriving flight.

Baby-changing facilities
Baby-changing facilities are provided inside the washroom for disabled passengers.

Playground
For children, there is an open-air, well-equipped playground inside the security area, close to the departure gates. In the Schengen area you will find a playground corner with helicopter and video screen. The Non Schengen area is equipped with an airplane and a video screen.

Accessability for handicapped passengers
According to the guidelines of the "association for the rights of disabled" the airport is designed free of barriers and obstacles. A special marking on the floor helps visually impaired people to orientate themselves. Physically handicapped passengers may be offered a wheelchair service to board the plane more comfortably. Please make a wheelchair reservation with the airline or with the travel agency at the time of booking your flight or your travel.

Shops
Shop till you drop! The Travel Value Shop offers a full range of cosmetics, perfumes, sunglasses, watches, sweets etc. Tobacco and alcohol are only sold to passengers travelling to non-EU states and to the Canary Islands.

Travel agencies
More than 15 travel agencies are at your disposal in the terminal (see travel agencies and airlines).

Restaurants
The Baden-Airport Gastronomie GmbH with its Bistro „Flyer's“, a beer garden in the security area and two coffee shops.

Currency exchange and telephone
A cash machine dispensing local currency (Euro) is located inside the terminal (opposite to the bistro). A moneychanger is situated in direct neighbourhood to the cash machine. This moneychanger changes 5 Euro, 10 Euro and 20 Euro bank notes in 1 Euro and 2 Euro coins. There is no foreign currency exchange facility. Coin-phones are also situated in the terminal.

Lockboxes
At the moment there are no lockboxes in the terminal.

Wireless LAN access
The Airport offers a Wireless LAN access in the passenger terminal in cooperation with The Cloud. Clients with notebooks, which are equipped with an integrated WLAN module or a WLAN card can use the WLAN service at the access points in the terminal.
